Yes, Jurassic Joy is the dinosaur cake. Its page describes lively greens, tropical details and a playful dinosaur theme that turns the birthday table into a tiny adventure. It is a Lightly Sweet fresh cream cake, made with cane sugar and less sweet than a typical supermarket cake, on a Japanese chiffon base with real dairy fresh cream outside.

How much does a dinosaur cake cost?

Jurassic Joy starts from $89.95 at 6 inch, $119.95 at 8 inch and $159.95 at 10 inch for a pre-order. The table also lists a few nearby designs for children who like trucks, safari animals or monsters.

Prices are pre-order prices on the website and show as "from" because the final total depends on your choices. The cart shows the exact amount. The character cake guide places these next to the bear, unicorn and animal designs.

What size dinosaur cake do I need?

Match the size to the number of guests and how thin you will slice. A 6 inch serves 6 to 8 normal dessert slices, an 8 inch serves 12 to 14, and a 10 inch serves 18 to 22.

A coffee slice is less than half of a normal slice. The numbers are a guide, so if you are between sizes, choose the larger one, because leftovers keep well in the fridge overnight. For a small family birthday, the 6 inch is enough; for a class-sized or extended-family party, look at the 8 or 10 inch.

Can I get a dinosaur cake the same day?

Yes, Jurassic Joy has an Express version for same-day. Order by 2:30 PM Monday to Saturday for delivery that evening between 5:30 and 10:30 PM, or by 4:00 PM for same-day pickup at the kitchen in Markham. Sundays do not take same-day orders, only pre-orders.

Only cakes with Express in the name can be made same-day or next-day. If you order the Express cake, do not add it to the same order as a pre-order cake, because one order has one date. The Express collection shows what is available today.

Planning ahead costs less. Pre-orders open from the day after tomorrow and up to 180 days ahead at a lower price than Express. Each day takes a limited number of orders, so a popular Saturday can fill up. Pick the date in the cart and it will show whether it is open.

Can the dinosaur cake be eggless?

Yes, Jurassic Joy offers a Make it eggless option for +$5. It applies to the main cake and cream only, so decorations and add-ons may still contain egg. The kitchen also handles milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts and tree nuts every day, so eggless means no egg added to the main cake, not zero contact with egg, and no cake can be guaranteed free of any allergen. Eggless cannot be combined with 0 Sugar Added or Keto.

What other themes are there for little builders and explorers?

If the child prefers trucks, Construction Site is the one: its page describes trucks, cranes and road signs forming a lively construction scene, and it is listed with a non-edible toy, so keep that away from small mouths. It comes in 6 and 8 inch only, with an eggless option, and has no Express version.

Wild Safari (a little lion and playful spots) and Whimsy Monsters (funny monster faces) are the other two in the table. Whimsy Monsters has an Express version for same-day; Wild Safari does not.

How do I carry and serve it?

Keep the box flat on the floor of the car or in the trunk, never on a seat or your lap, and drive gently. Refrigerate it in the box within an hour of arrival, do not freeze it, and serve it straight from the fridge. Keep it at room temperature for no more than 2 hours in total, or 1 hour in hot weather. It is best the same day, and any left can go back in the fridge overnight.
