2. Ordering & Processing

  • All products are handcrafted to order. Preparation times may vary; please check the product page for specific lead times and availability.
  • Orders placed after 5:00 PM (ET), on Sundays, or on statutory holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • Same-day or next-day cakes are available in select categories only.
  • For custom cakes, designer desserts, event cakes, dessert tables, catering, or fondant cakes, delivery terms may differ. Please consult customer service for details.

3. Pickup

  • All cakes and bakery items can be ordered online for in-store pickup.
  • Walk-in orders are welcome, but product availability is not guaranteed. Please contact us in advance before visiting. We DO NOT sell ready-to-go item in store.
  • Please note that the selected pickup time slot is for reference only and does not guarantee that your order will be ready before that time. Your order will be prepared within the chosen time window, and you will receive a “Ready for Pickup” email notification once your order is ready. To avoid unnecessary waiting, please come to the store only after receiving this notification.
  •   Unclaimed cakes returned from undelivered deliveries must be picked up within 24 hours.

4. Local Delivery

  • Standard delivery windows are between 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Some areas may available for afternoon delivery.
  • Deliveries are limited to eligible residential addresses within our service area. We do not deliver to commercial addresses (restaurants, bars, hotels, banquet halls, P.O. Boxes, FPOs, etc.).
  •  If your address is an apartment or condo, delivery will be made to the building entrance or lobby only.
  •  Only one delivery attempt will be made per order. If the recipient is unavailable, AND driver decides not suit for safe drop-off,  the cake will be returned to the store for pickup within 24 hours. No second delivery attempt will be made.
  • We cannot change the delivery address, product content, or recipient details, nor cancel orders once processing has begun.
  • Additional fees may apply for weekend or holiday deliveries; please confirm with customer service.

5. Worry-Free Delivery Guarantee

  • You will receive a tracking link or phone call before delivery.
  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the cake in person during the delivery window.
  • For contactless or concierge/lobby drop-off, a delivery photo will serve as confirmation.
  • Immediate inspection is required:
    Please check your cake upon delivery and report damage to the delivery driver on the spot, AND contact us within 2 hours of delivery (as confirmed by our delivery record).Claims made after 2 hours will not be accepted due to the perishable nature of our cakes.
  • If your claim is approved, we will issue a full refund in store credit.
  • The Place is not liable for damages reported after 2 hours, or for issues arising after a successful drop-off (as evidenced by delivery photo/timestamp).

  • Due to factors beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather, building policies), all delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may be occured.
  • By placing an order, you acknowledge the unique, fragile nature of our products and agree to these terms.
