0 Sugar Added Cakes, Sweetened Differently

Searching for a sugar-free cake in Toronto? We make ours with no cane sugar added anywhere in the recipe — sweetened with erythritol, monk fruit and stevia instead, and layered with the same 100% real dairy fresh cream as every cake we bake. The keto line goes further and skips the wheat flour too. One cake the whole table shares, with no separate dessert for anyone.

The recipe, honestly

What replaces the sugar — and what it tastes like

Every cake on this page is made without cane sugar. The sweetness comes from erythritol, monk fruit and stevia — plant-derived sweeteners we blend so the result reads gently sweet rather than sugary. The texture holds because these cakes were never built on sugar in the first place — they're built on whipped 100% real dairy cream over soft layers. Honest note: they taste a touch less sweet than a typical sugar cake, and the cream carries the flavour. Most guests can't tell until you tell them.

Why "0 sugar added"

No cane sugar anywhere in the recipe. Dairy cream carries its own natural milk sugars — so we only claim what we control: 0 sugar added, labelled plainly.

The keto line

Keto cakes also skip wheat flour — almond-based layers instead. Two different recipes, labelled separately on every product.

Same cream as everything else

100% real dairy fresh cream, whipped fresh. No plant-based whip, no shortcuts — exactly the same cream as our classic line.

0 sugar added, in plain words

Are your cakes sugar-free?

We say 0 sugar added: no cane sugar is added anywhere in the recipe, and sweetness comes from erythritol, monk fruit and stevia. Dairy cream naturally contains milk sugars, so "sugar-free" wouldn't be an honest label — what we control, we remove.

What do you use instead of sugar?

A blend of erythritol, monk fruit and stevia — all plant-derived sweeteners. The result is gently sweet rather than sugary, and the real dairy cream carries most of the flavour.

What's the difference between 0 Sugar Added and Keto?

0 Sugar Added cakes skip the cane sugar but still use wheat flour. The Keto line goes further: no cane sugar and no wheat flour — the layers are almond-based. They're two different recipes, labelled separately on each product.

Do 0 sugar added cakes taste different?

A little — they're a touch less sweet than a typical sugar cake, closer to how fresh cream cake tastes in much of the world. Light, airy, and the cream does the talking. Most guests can't tell until you tell them.
