When do I need to order by?+

These are 2 limited-edition Mother’s Day cakes — only 30 made — first come, first served. Once the slots are gone they’re gone. Our hard cut-off is Saturday, May 9 at 12:00 PM noon, but most years we sell out earlier. Reserve early to lock in the cake (and the time window) you want.

When will mom’s cake actually arrive?+

You pick the date right in your cart page before checkout — choose either Saturday evening (May 9) or Sunday — Mother’s Day (May 10). Some areas also support Sunday afternoon delivery. We strongly recommend Saturday evening to guarantee on-time arrival — Sunday demand is heavy and afternoon windows fill fast.

Do you deliver to my area?+

We deliver daily across the GTA — Toronto, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Scarborough, North York and more. We also deliver to Stouffville (Mon & Fri), Hamilton/Burlington (Tue, Thu, Sun), and Waterloo/Kitchener/Guelph (Wed & Sat). Use the postal-code checker above to see exact slots for your area.

Can I pick up instead?+

Yes — pickup is free at our Markham location: 505 Hood Rd, Unit 10. On Mother’s Day Sunday the pickup window is 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Select pickup in your cart before checkout.

How is delivery tracked?+

You and the recipient both get email + SMS updates when the cake is on its way, with a live link to the driver’s location. Our driver will also call when they arrive at the door — no missed deliveries.

What sizes can I choose?+

Each cake offers multiple size options (and the heart-shaped cake comes in its own dimensions). Choose your size on the product page after clicking Reserve.

What’s the difference between Cloud Nine’s 0 Sugar Added and Keto?+

0 Sugar Added uses our classic chiffon recipe (contains wheat) — a familiar, light cake without added sugar. Keto goes a step further: 0 sugar added, completely flourless, and gluten-free. Both are made with the same blush-pink whipped cream finish — pick whichever fits mom’s lifestyle best.

What if mom has allergies?+

All cakes are made in a facility that handles common allergens — nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy. If mom has severe allergies, please email contact@theplacetoronto.com before ordering and we’ll walk you through the safest options.
